What is the Cost of Land Survey in Lagos State?
In Lagos, the cost of land survey varies according to location and they are determined by zones. There are three zones in Lagos. They are Zone A, B, and C. The costs of land survey in Lagos state are ₦350,000 Naira for 0-1000 square meter plot size in zone C, ₦500,000 for 0-1000 square meter plot size in zone B, ₦800,000 for 0-1000 square meter plot size in zone A

Land size
The larger the land size, the more the cost of doing the survey. So, to determine the actual land size of a particular land you will be needing a surveyor. He will measure the perimeters of the land and it’s done by square meter.

The Zone in Lagos state
The Zone is determined or based on the geographical location you bought the land and where that land is cited. There are three zones in Lagos State which are used in processing survey plan and land document including certificate of occupancy and governors consent.
The different local government area in Lagos state are categorized into Zone A, Zone B and Zone C.
The zones inside Lagos state are separated into zones due to their financial suitability and how costly plots of land cost per transactions
Local government areas(LGAs) under Zone A are Eti-Osa, Lagos Island, Ikeja, and Apapa. LGAs under Zone B are Agege, Alimosho, Amuwo-Odofin, Ibeju-Lekki, Ifako-Ijaiye, Kosofe, Lagos Mainland, Mushin, Oshodi/Isolo, Ojo, Shomolu, and Surulere. Those under Zone C are Ajeromi-Ifelodun, Badagry, Epe, and Ikorodu.
